The University of Arkansas at Monticello Boll Weevils were not able to mount much offense on Saturday, travelling to Searcy, Arkansas to face the #2 ranked Harding Bison.
The Weevils only managed to produce a total of 165 total yards of offense compared to Harding who finished the contest with 600 total offensive yards despite only producing 10 passing yards.
Tavion Faulk would complete 14 of 28 passes for 148 yards, one interception, and no touchdowns and was sacked six times.
Isaiah Broadway would lead the Weevils in rushing yards with 18 net yards on five carries. As a team the Weevils were held to 17 rushing yards after 33 yards were lost due to the six sacks.
TJ Fields would lead the Weevils in reception yardage with four catches for 49 yards.
Harding would score 55 points in the contest with 14 in the first, 20 in the second, 14 in the third and sevin in the fourth for the 55-0 win to improve to 8-0 on the season with the Weevils falling to 2-6.
The Weevils will return to Willis “Convoy” Leslie Cotton Bowl Stadium for the final time this season for Senior/Military Appreciation Day hosting Southwestern Oklahoma State with a 2 pm kickoff on Saturday.
