DeWayne Thurman, 80, of Crossett, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. Born on September 2, 1944, in Monticello to Cecil and Margie Mhoon Thurman, DeWayne grew up in nearby Lacey.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Hogue Thurman and four children; nine grandchildren,; and four great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 13, at the Lacey Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Slaughter, officiating.
Visitation was from 1-2 p.m., at the cemetery prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Crossett.
