After a lead-off strikeout, Addi Frazer would reach on a double, but would be left on the bases after consecutive strikeouts would leave her stranded.

Baptist Prep would maintain the 1-0 lead until the bottom of the seventh inning.

Ashley Hales would tie the contest on an inside the park homerun to send the contest into extra innings.

Baptist Prep would be set down in order in the top of the eighth inning.

The Lady Billies recorded three hits in the contest, with Hales having the inside the park homerun and Frazer and Jeffers recording doubles.

Returning on Friday, hosting the Hampton Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Billies would send Rhyse Guthrie to the mound for her first start of the season.

After walking the lead off batter, Guthrie would strikeout the next batter before allowing a single with the runner at first getting out at second and then a fly out to end the inning.

Monticello would get four runs in the bottom of the inning, with Libby Kingston leading off the inning with a double, followed by a walk by Frazer.

After a ground out by Hales, with Kingston scoring on the play, Kiley Lane would double to score Frazer.

Guthrie would pitch the complete game, allowing one hit in four innings, walking three, and striking out four.

The Lady Billies scored 15 runs on 13 hits, recording 11 RBI.
