The Pirates would return to action on Tuesday, January 14, travelling to McGehee for a conference contest against the McGehee Owls.

The Pirates would take the first quarter 16-11 but would lose the next three quarters with McGehee taking a 59-50 win.

Returning the next night at home against Dumas, the Pirates would find themselves in a back and forth contest with Dumas, however it would be the Bobcats that would come out on top with a 46-40 win.

Drew Central would get back in the win column on Friday thanks to a 21-11 first quarter that would lead to the Pirates snapping their four game losing streak with a 10 point win.
