The Crimson Storm would retake the lead with 1:12 remaining in the half after a three yard run by Kaden Manuel.

After the extra point, SNU led 14-7.

SNU added a field goal before the end of the half to set up a 17-7 lead at the half.

The Weevils would pull within three points in the third quarter on a 55 yard touchdown pass from Brown to Anthony Dansby.
