Corrin Hoover Meek was born to William Clyde and Eddie Jane Hoover in Florence, on April 24, 1922 .  She married Robert Woodrow Meek of Monticello, on December 31, 1939. They lived in Monticello and Pine Bluff, as well as Memphis, where their son was born. Corrin was a devout Christian having committed her life to Jesus in her teen years.  A dedicated church member, she worked in Sunday School, VBS, and Training Union and remained faithful in her attendance as long as she was physically able to do so.

She enjoyed RVing, playing SkipBo and dominoes, gardening, baking and a variety of handwork including crochet, embroidery, needlepoint and quilting. Her chocolate chip cookies and “scrubbies” were enjoyed by many.

Corrin is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her two sisters, Reba Lee and Mary Catherine.  She is survived by her son, James Randolph “Randy” (Marcella), four granddaughters, Cassandra Atwood (Eric), Breanna Borlase (Matthew), Mikayla Crane (Jeremiah), Jillissa Rush (Seth) and 16 great-grandchildren.
