Frank Fleming, 92

Frank Fleming was born April 1, 1931, and passed away January 16, 2024, in Springfield, Mo.

Frank was raised in Monticello and raised on a 160 acre farm with his parents, Robert Wilson and Lois Rash Fleming. They raised cotton, tomatoes, and cattle along with his twin brother, Fred, and three other brothers, Harold, Joe and Ed.

Following High School, Frank entered the Army. He spent several years in the infantry in Germany.

Frank and his wife, Frances Etta Marshall were married 55 years. She passed away March 1, 2013, in Carthage, Mo.

While living in Carthage, Frances taught home economics for the Carthage School District. Frank sold printing presses for King Press in Joplin, Mo., where he was a sales manager.

In addition to traveling, they were active at First Baptist Church Carthage and enjoyed sports.

They had three children, Deborah (Peter) Tumminia, Michael (Mellonie) Fleming and Robert (Danette) Fleming. They has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Frank will be held at a later date.
