Junell Douglas Gulley, Sr., 63, of Wilmar, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at The Woods Nursing and Rehab in Monticello. He was born June 19, 1961, in Prescott to Leroy Gulley and Doris Blake Pearson. Gulley loved to fish and spend his free time outdoors. He was a retired carrier.
Gully is preceded in death by his father.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Seneca Charles Gulley; mother, Doris Pearson; father and mother in law, Ken and Sandra Charles; children, Amos Walker (Danielle), LeKetia McKinney, Junell D Gulley, Jr. (Ebonie) of Gurdon, and Maiya Gulley of Dallas; siblings, Rupert Purifoy (Jennifer), Sandra Burton, Willie Hopson (Shanita) and Marcus Todd (Dana); grandchildren, Madison Gulley, Jaquarion Gulley, Dania Laster, RJ McKinney, Rodquez McKinney, Breah Walker, Amariana Walker, Jamauriae Moss, Malik Gulley, Malia Gulley, and Eshaun Gulley; sisters-in-laws in love, Christie Alexander (Bill) of Shreveport, LA and Denise Moore (Corey) of Wilmar.
Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2024, from 4-6 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Prescott. Burial will be in Sweet Home Cemetery in Prescott.
