Mac Harrison, 70, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Baptist Health Spring Hill in North Little Rock. He was born July 9, 1953, in Star City to the late Elzie Mac Harrison and Lovie Joyce Earnest Harrison.
He was the owner of Harrison's Fiberglass and Aluminum Boat Repair and a Baptist. Mac began his career in the boat business at Mon Ark Boat Company when he was 18 years old and that's where he met the love of his life, his late wife Jeannie. After leaving Mon Ark, he started his own boat repair business on Hwy. 278 West before moving to the new location on Hwy. 425 North. Mac had a great work ethic which allowed him to build a successful business.
He was a member of Hickory Hole Hunting Club where he loved to deer hunt, and enjoyed fishing, socializing with friends and family, eating, watching western movies and wrestling, and was a big jokester.

Mac was a loving father and grandfather and searched for ways to help others. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Jeannie Holdcraft Harrison; a nephew, Chad Mac Harrison; a grandson, Kenneth Gene Harrison; and a daughter-in-law, Tabatha Ann Forrest Harrison.
He is survived by his three children, Stacey Chrismond (Douglas), Michael Harrison  (Jennifer) and Justin Harrison all of Monticello; one brother, Troy Harrison of Monticello; one sister, Lovie Denise McGregor (Ken) of Georgia; grandchildren, Sydney Hill (James), Ty Burton (Avery), Kimberly Doolin, Karley Jo Doolin, Mackayla Harrison, Colt Braxton Harrison; great grandchild, Bentley Claire Hill; a grandchild on the way, Rayann Garrison; his best friend who was like a brother, Ronnie McIntyre  (Connie) of Warren; and a grandchild that was like a son, Braden Travis Mac Harrison.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwayne Roper officiating. There was a visitation Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial was in Rash Cemetery.
