Patricia Ann Harris Grant, 77, of Warren, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born December 14, 1946, in Monticello to the late R.L. Harris and Mardell Huff Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lamar Hammil; and siblings, Jane Harris Allen, Eleanor Harris Gibbons, Homer Harris, and Henry Harris.
She was employed by Burlington Industries in Monticello for several years as a personnel secretary. She also owned and operated Monticello Florist in Monticello for many years until her retirement. She then owned and operated Greenlee Apartments in Warren with her husband for many years.
Pat's greatest joys in life were her numerous grandchildren, who all affectionately called her "Gran". She also enjoyed flowers, camping, and the Christmas season.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Garry Grant; one daughter, Diane Hammil Hartness (Rusty Graham) of Jonesboro; one brother, Robert Harris (Peggy) of Monticello; step-sons, Michael Grant (Tyanna) and Mark Grant (Tulita), all of Monticello; grandchildren, Kandice Karnes-Wever of Monticello, Ashley Vaughn (Michael) of Lake Village, Stratton Brantley of Monticello, Levi Hammil (Jamie) of Monticello, Jake Hammil (Lauren) of Cabot; Jason Camden (Andrea) of Coleman, and Logan Camden (Cassie) of Monticello; Karson Grant, Chloe Grant, Claire Grant, Kenley Grant, Maddie Grant, and Mark "Bubba" Grant, all of Monticello; great-grandchildren, Preston Forrest, Elijah "Eli" Wever, Alice Jane "AJ" Craig, Macie Vaughn, Nora Vaughn, Victoria Vaughn, Jaci Hammil, Luke Hammil, Aaden Hammil, Keaston Hammil, Coy McCain, Heidi Hammer, Holt Hammil, Baylor McCain, Carson Camden, Abbi Camden, and Kierstyn Camden.; with a great-grandson on the way, David Allen Grant, due in March. As well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. There was a visitation from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Steve Harris, Bobby Harris, Doug Harris, Michael Harris, Kevin Harris, and Ronnie Shaver. Honorary Pallbearers include Jeff Hatley, Chad Hatley, Audi Prewitt, and Bradley Harris.
