Thomas Darryl Weaver, 63, of Monticello climbed the stairway to heaven on January 29, 2024, with his wife and daughters at his side. He was born in Dermott on February 13, 1960, to his parents Nola Mae Dunn Weaver and Elbert Weaver. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Wesley, Rodney, Gary, Russell.
He was an active member of the Monticello Church of Christ and had many friends and hobbies. At various stages throughout his lifetime he played golf, hunted, and rode horses, but his childhood love for muscle cars was renewed when he drove to Florida to pick up a 1970 Ford Torino, which he drove for many years.
He was adept at many trades, working as an electrician for many years and later in the auto parts industry before retiring at the age of 61.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Denon Weaver, daughters Chelsea Smith and JoBeth Weaver, grandchildren Jovi and Jedidiah, and siblings Stanley and Becky Weaver.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Saturday February 3, 2024, at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral services were at 3 p.m., Sunday, February 4, 2024, with Brother Josh Walker officiating. Arrangements made by Griffin Funeral Home Dumas, AR.
