The University of Arkansas at Monticello Volleyball team dropped a conference match on Friday, September 18, hosting the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns.
Arkansas Tech would take the first set 25-13 after going on a run of six consecutive points to go up 20-10 before Ella Cline put a stop to the run with a kill.
UAM scored two more points in the set to fall 25-13.
UAM would keep the second set closer with Arkansas Tech having scored runs of three on three different occasions to take the second set of the match 25-19.
Arkansas Tech would put UAM away in the third set of the best of five series.
The Golden Suns would outpace UAM going on several consecutive scoring runs in the contest, with the biggest consecutive run being five straight points to hold a 14-5 advantage.
Arkansas Tech would finish the match by taking the set 25-14 to hand UAM their third conference loss dropping their overall record to 2-13 ns the Great American Conference to 0-3.
