Charles Stinson added the extra point for the 7-0 lead.

East Central would add a touchdown on their possession to tie the contest but the Weevils would take the lead on their next possession after covering 62 yards with Forkner connecting with Aiden Whitmore for a 14-yard touchdown reception.

After the extra point the Weevils led 14-7.

Both teams would add scores in the second quarter to enter halftime tied at 21.

East Central would take the lead in the third quarter with the Weevils tying the contest 28-28 heading into the fourth quarter.

UAM would add a final touchdown in the contest to fall short of their first win of the season 32-37.
